Motorola Moto E40 specs, triple rear camera, 90Hz display
After launching in Europe last week, the Motorola Moto E40 was officially launched in India. The Moto E40 specifications are quite interesting, with a 90Hz screen and three rear cameras.
Lenovo as the Motorola brand holder presents the Moto E40 as a tough waterproof phone with IP52 certification. This phone is launched in two color and memory variants.
Other highlights of the phone include an octa-core Unisoc T700 SoC, expandable storage up to 1TB. The Moto E40 is said to be the main competitor of the Realme C21Y, Samsung Galaxy M12, and Infinix Hot 11.
The Motorola Moto E40 runs on Android 11 and features a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ IPS display (720×1600 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate.
The kitchen is powered by a Unisoc T700 SoC with 4GB of RAM, and has 64GB of internal storage that supports expansion up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
There is a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.79 lens, along with a 2-megapixel depth camera with f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The rear camera supports features including Portrait mode, Panorama, Face Beauty, HDR Night Vision, Macro Vision, and Pro Mode.
For selfies and video calls, the Moto E40 is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front, with an f/2.0 lens on top.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensor. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Motorola embeds a 5,000mAh battery on the Moto E40, which supports standard 10W charging. For dimensions, the phone measures 165.1×75.6×9.1mm and weighs 198 grams.

The Moto E40 was first launched in Europe last week, with a price tag of EUR 149 or equivalent to IDR 2.4 million for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration.
