The AN230W is a fast, reliable and affordable network scanner for businesses that have shared scanning needs for A4 and Legal documents. In addition, it scans hard plastic cards, business cards, credit cards and other types of thick paper documents.
With wired and wireless network capabilities, the Avision AN230W scanner offers network scanning to email, shared folder (CIFS) and an FTP server. It also offers mobile scanning via tablets and smartphones with the Avision app.

The AN230W features a unique and innovative design compared to its predecessors, the ability to accommodate documents up to 242mm wide. The extended document width from the standard 216mm to 242mm makes the AN230W more competitive to cater for a wide range of documents.
Thanks to advanced straight paper path and image processing technology, mixed batches of documents with various sizes and weights can be scanned, properly cut and framed. The minimum scan size is 50mm x 50mm and the maximum size is 242mm x 356mm. The automatic document feeder is robust enough to feed paper up to 413 g/m2 and rigid embossed cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver's license and health insurance cards up to 1.25mm thick.
Designed with the innovative reverse paper separation roller, the AN230W delivers exceptional feed reliability and operational productivity, effectively reducing the risk of paper jams.
With ultrasonic multi-feed detection capability, the scanner allows you to detect overlapping paper by detecting paper thickness between documents. The ultrasonic function can be turned off when scanning documents with labels, notes or receipts. This innovative design avoids double feeding and effectively scans documents of different weights or thicknesses.
The AN230W features a unique and stylish design, the paper input and output tray can be folded when not in use. The paper tray also helps protect the scanner from dust. Unlike bulky conventional scanners, the AN230W is slim and can be easily transported and does not take up much space.
