A4 plain paper print that's not the main focus of our testing, but XP-750 do a reasonable job. Rather than having special pigmented ink cartridges for plain paper printing, using the same dye ink to print on paper that is used for the photo. Letter-print quality that is dark, but the edges of the letters look a little blurry and multiple lines of text to wobble a bit. On the quality of the draft text, gray and a jagged look. Illustrated business documents printed in text and graphical mode drivers fared little better: chart and illustration looks great, but the text, especially at small sizes, again looked a bit fuzzy around the edges.
Which the MFP is truly excels in printing photos. The picture quality is amazing, with great detail and color is very rich. This is most noticeable in dark areas, where deep black tones with lots of low-contrast detail.
