The Canon DR-C225WII is a WiFi document scanner whose unique U-shaped vertical scanning concept saves 50% of space on your desk compared with a conventional scanner. Thanks to its built-in WiFi card, the Canon DR-C225W can now be shared between several users and controlled directly by any WiFi-enabled device: smartphone, tablet, PC and Mac.
Thanks to Cloud service support, you can now scan to Google Docs, Evernote and SharePoint. The included software gives you access to many of the same features as eCopy Pdf Pro Office: OCR, conversion to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, High Compression PDF, page reorganisation, side-by-side document comparison, etc. On a PC or Mac, CaptureOnTouch is the software that intuitively controls the scanner with its many features. From a mobile device, the CaptureOnTouch Mobile application (downloadable free of charge from the App Store and Google Play) enables you to perform the main automatic image processing functions, such as format detection, straightening and blank page removal.
Canon ImageFormula DR-C225 II scanner is equipped with a paper tray that can accommodate up to 30 sheets of paper, Canon DR-C225 II is able to scan as many as 1,500 sheets of documents per day. Canon DR-C225 II is equipped with various advanced features such as automatic colour detection, auto blank page detection, Error Diffusion, Advanced Text Enhancement and others. Canon Image Formula DR-C225 II can detect duplicate documents when scanning using an ultrasonic sensor that will detect the length of the document. Canon Image Formula DR-C225 II is capable of scanning long documents up to 3m in Long Document mode.
Performance
With speeds of 25 pages/min via USB and WiFi (B&W, greyscale or colour) and thanks to its 30-sheet automatic feeder and ultrasonic double-feed detection, the CanonDR-C225WII is capable of producing an average of 1,500 pages/day.
Ergonomics
The CanonDR-C225WII is easy to use every day: you pick up the documents facing you and the images are automatically flipped to the correct reading direction. The manual selector lets you switch to linear mode to scan rigid cards (health cards, ID cards, etc.). Scanning can be carried out using the control button or remotely thanks to Wi-Fi wireless connectivity.
