It was launched in conjunction with a gaming laptop that targets more serious gamers, the Dell G7 15, the G3 15 laptop. more designed with the thought of being used not only for gaming. Users can also use the Dell G3 15 as a laptop for work.

Elegant & Beautiful Outer Appearance

One thing that is immediately apparent when you meet the Dell G3 for the first time is its elegant shape. Thanks to its target audience of casual and professional gamers, all angles and dimensions are made possible to make it easy to carry. That's also what makes this gaming laptop made with a thinness of 22.7 mm.

For the body material, Dell G3 has a softness to the touch. The use of a silky matte finish makes the surface of this laptop not shiny, but pleasant to hold. Then on the back there is also a new Dell logo with blue accents which is the new identity of Dell gaming. As for the color, this gaming laptop has three color options, namely Black, Blue Recon, and White Alpine.

There are two processor options that can be found on this laptop, namely Intel i5 8300H and Intel i7 8750H. Both are processors that are clearly capable of playing casual MOBA class games or simpler games.

Not to mention if you count the GPU used in this Dell G3. We were quite surprised when we saw the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti which had 4GB DDR5 VRAM. If you want to play AAA class games using this gaming laptop, you can use the Medium to High settings at a resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Thanks to the screen that has IPS FHD 1920 x 1080 quality, the GPU which is relatively fast can show its abilities. The Dell G3 screen is also equipped with an anti-glare or anti-glare coating, so you can use it outdoors. As for the screen size, 15.6 inches is a size large enough to play games today.

In terms of memory, the Dell G3 equips itself with options ranging from 4GB, 8GB, even up to using an additional 16GB Intel Optane SSD Memory. For casual games, the memory size is still understandable. But for today's AAA class games, we feel 8GB is the bottom standard.

Talking about the smoothness of playing games, then storage cannot be forgotten. Dell G3 provides quite a lot of options for that, starting from a 1TB HDD, 128GB SSD plus 1TB HDD 5400rpm, 256GB SSD, up to 2TB HDD 5400rpm. The use of an SSD to boot Windows 10 and the location of the game installation is a must to avoid long loading times and stuttering in the middle of the game.
