Avision AD240U
The Avision AD240U is a fast, reliable duplex document scanner with a scanning speed of 40 pages per minute and can capture a wide range of document types from business cards to credit cards in a variety of paper thicknesses thanks to its counter-rotating roller paper feed.

A duplex scanner - Perfect for scanning documents and cards
Equipped with the latest paper handling technology and image processing functions, not only can a wide range of paper sizes and weights be captured smoothly, but they can also be cropped and deskewed instantly. From paper sizes between 50x50mm and 216x356mm to papers with a grammage of 413g/m2 and even 1.25mm thick credit or health insurance cards, the automatic document feeder transports all originals.
Paper-friendly transport
With a full four feed rollers, the AD240U transports even the most delicate document safely and gently. Margins are not crumpled and double-sided feeding is also prevented, which could cause a paper jam and further damage to the original.
Intuitive operation
A user-friendly LCD display allows up to nine scan destinations with scan settings, scan output to directories, email programs or other applications, printers and other devices to be defined, recalled at any time and executed easily and instantly at the touch of a button.
Ultrasonic double sheet detection
Using an ultrasonic sensor, the scanner measures paper thickness during document capture and issues a warning message in the event of paper overlap. This ultrasonic detection prevents double-sheet feeding and at the same time allows the capture of a wide variety of document types. Optionally, ultrasonic double-sheet detection can also be turned off, allowing documents with stickers or sticky notes to be scanned.
The Avision AD240U has a unique, stylish design, and its compact dimensions make it easy to transport and place anywhere. The paper tray can be folded and retracted when not in use. At the same time, the paper holder also protects the scan unit from dust.

Avision AVScan
Document capture is the beginning of document management. Poor image quality can have a negative impact on the subsequent indexing and storage of data. This creates unnecessary work and reduces OCR accuracy. Avision AVScan captures and directly inspects documents while they are still being scanned, ensuring optimal image quality for further processing. As an intelligent scanning and data archiving software, AVScan provides various functions for converting and classifying the scanned data. In addition to a user-friendly interface, AVScan offers a wide range of scan settings, image processing functions and filters as well as integrated FTP upload and batch separation.
Avision Button Manager
The Button Manager is an easy and safe application to manage your documents for both beginners and advanced users. You have nine preset profiles predefined in scan destinations and file format to choose from, which you can customize to your own liking or simply run right away. Among other things, you can specify scan settings, file format and the destination application yourself. At the touch of a button, the scanned documents can then be sent as a searchable multi-page PDF or to printers, destination applications, folders, directories or even email.
