Asus FX505DT review-Gaming and standard notebooks are not only different in terms of the specifications they use, but they can also be seen in the design they use. There are characteristics given by manufacturers from their gaming products, even the design made from this product category becomes a special feature to mark about the product and its capabilities.
Asus recently announced a new line of TUF Gaming laptops that come with a new design and are claimed to have faster performance than before. The series is the TUF Gaming FX505DT comes with a new face and power from AMD to pump up the performance of the system performance for more optimal.
Incidentally, the editorial team got a product from the F15 series family labeled TUF FX505DT. This series comes with a design that is quite futuristic, but does not look fragile because it has been equipped with a military certificate that states the product is quite 'resilient'. It uses TFT LCD LED backlight and supports Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 45% NTSC color coverage.
Visual processing with good graphics, it also seems to be thanks to the AMD Radeon graphics chip processing system integrated with AMD Ryzen 3000 Series Mobile Processors. The TUF Gaming series supports AMD FreeSync technology and adaptive sync technology, making it compatible with gaming monitors that also support the technology.
For information, the AMD FreeSync feature is a technology that allows synchronization between the refresh rate and the frame rate displayed. This technology makes for a smoother gaming experience without tearing or stuttering. Although the body size is smaller than its predecessor, the audio visual boom can run quite nicely. Performance
For performance, the TUF FX505DT is powered by AMD Ryzen 3000 Series Mobile Processors that use a 4 core and 8 thread configuration. These latest generation processors are not only optimal for gaming, but also for other heavy tasks, especially multitasking. Processors from the latest series are manufactured using the 7nm fabrication method.
In the latest TUF Gaming series, the processors will also be accompanied by DDR4-3200 memory, the fastest among gaming laptops in general. The combination allows for a significant increase in overall performance. In addition, there is also support from the AMD SenseMI feature which can provide up to 20% better power efficiency. Ryzen H series support with 35Watt TDP provides maximum performance in smoother and lag-free gaming, photo editing, video rendering and productivity.
The latest series of TUF Gaming laptops will feature graphics chips up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 which comes using the latest technology that combines CUDA, RT, and Tensor cores. Thanks to this technology, the latest TUF Gaming series laptops are capable of hybrid rendering with real-time ray tracing features, and have AI acceleration support. Ryzen H Series combined with Discrete VGA provides gaming fps above 40fps with High Resolution settings.
The Turing architecture-based GPU also excels in video encoding. Thanks to the latest technology, laptops using Turing architecture-based GPUs can take advantage of a special video encoder feature that enables the rendering process while minimizing CPU usage. This technology allows users to do other work simultaneously, one example is gaming while live video streaming and recording.
