Nikon UT-1 Software Download | UT-1 Firmware-Mount adapter which allows you to use the F-mount Nikkor lenses (was designed for Nikon SLR and DSLR cameras) on all Nikon mirrorless camera 1. To use this adapter, the camera's firmware must be updated to at least version 1.10. F-mount lens will yield point of view equivalent to 2.7 x sight when used with a full-frame SLR or DSLR camera (F-mount lens 50 mm, for example, will give a point of view on the V1 lens 135 mm equivalent on full-frame SLR or DSLR cameras). When the VR (Vibration Reduction) lens is used, the function of VR can be used. Allows autofocus when using AF-S lenses, but the focus mode should be set to AF-S (Single AF) AF-area mode and remain on a Single point, using only the central point of focus.
Key FeaturesThe FT1 mount adapter allows NIKKOR F mount lenses to be used with Nikon 1 cameras equipped with a Nikon 1 mount. The angle of view of an F mount lens mounted on the FT1 is equivalent to that of a 35mm format lens with a focal length about 2.7 x longer.
The FT1 can be used with more than 60 lenses, representing almost all the NIKKOR lenses currently on the market(*1).
It almost goes without saying that it also supports autoexposure/autofocus(*2) and vibration reduction(*3). Electronic rangefinding is available in manual focus mode. You can also explore the new forms of expression offered by the Nikon 1's unique Motion Snapshot mode(*4).
*1The adapter can be used with the following F mount NIKKOR lenses, including DX lenses but excluding IX-NIKKOR lenses, lenses for the F3AF, non-AI lenses, teleconverters, and auto extension rings. AI Nikkor 20mm f/2.8, AI Nikkor 24mm f/2.8, and PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED lenses can not be used.
*2Autofocus is available only with AF-S lenses; other lenses support manual focus only. The only AF-area mode available is Single-point AF and the camera focuses on the subject in the center focus point only.
*3Available with VR lenses.
*4Motion Snapshots can be recorded only when autofocus is used with AF-S lenses and then only when the camera is in focus.
