For me the most important aspect of the device: duplex printing. Documents that regularly print 2-sided try manually know how annoying this can be to raise hair, especially for larger files. The KOH6 works well, however, it's not exactly the fastest rate. And nothing but silence - clicking and rattling feed is partially almost annoying. In general, the quality of text document printing is very good, both in black or color printing, whether it includes tables, graphics or embellishments. Duplex printing You have to make sure to use a little thicker and better quality office paper, if a little wave of expression is determined.
After receiving the first surprise: While most technical devices are smaller, this doesn't seem to apply to multifunctional devices in the pressure range: the duplex unit makes Kodak Office hero (KOH6) both 1/3 bigger than my Brother's machine. The next surprise is the lack of USB connecting cables - in a product in this price range is more than just a bad joke. However, the installation and connection of KOH6 wlan runs true rewards, with restrictions that it wants to save Access data until after the 3rd time finally. In contrast, the display of WLAN access (blue) from another keypad (red) is different, so you can easily see interference. This instrument is equipped with black and bright color cartridges - not so good next surprises so: individual colors are not in separate cartridges before, which increases fuel consumption and thus the general cost.
Scanning and faxing functions are correct, the scans only make sense in a four-digit range because there are various very large DPI files. Automatic cleaning images (small things, dust, etc.) do not seem to last. For my use, the value of 300 DPI has proven to be profitable. Scan documents can also be stored on a memory card or sent to an e-mail recipient, so that a powered PC is not needed. The menu button and input from KOH6 both from pressure sensitivity, enter the telephone number for a perfect fax can come out of hand. Copy makes it look like a good impression scan, but the color is not always reproduced 100% original. This applies to printing on paper, as well as to special printer slides. The photo problem on the appropriate photo paper, however, has surprised me positively and qualitatively affects much higher than color printing on conventional office paper.

Speed photo printing and copying are really good in text documents correctly, in Duplex it is rather slow. Print and scan the accompanying software just fine and get the usual options from other suppliers. An evil surprise but came to the conclusion: the appointment of new ink is an expensive undertaking. The third party seems to avoid Kodak equipment and for me that means the change from Brother has increased sixfold in KOH6 ink cartridges - with devices that hold all colors in one cartridge. Of course there is a choice of refill kits, but even this was found to be significantly more expensive than my previous cartridge. What convinced me compared to my old unit of Kodak Office Hero 6.1 from duplex printing, smooth access via Wi-Fi and paper size of a decent tray. Volume, speed and especially ink prices, but points that are clearly open to criticism, especially if you put the purchase price of the unit based.
